We are delighted to welcome you to the second concert of Phoenix Chamber’s inaugural season, Beethoven & Beyond: A Bicentennial Celebration.

This evening brings together mezzo-soprano Natasha Nelson and pianists Ian Moschenross and Nhi Huynh for a program exploring the expressive power of the human voice and the rich colors of the piano.

You’ll hear works by Beethoven, Schubert, Lori Laitman, and more, with music for voice and piano as well as piano four hands. From intimate songs and lyrical storytelling to the energy and brilliance of two pianists sharing one instrument, this program offers a beautiful contrast of sound, poetry, and emotion.
